Have you ever had the worry..”I hope I don’t vomit when I lay the toddler down to bed?”
No? Well, then you’ve never been pregnant with a toddler or pregnant with heartburn AND a toddler. Not a bad thing at all. Sometimes, I wonder how the hell this is all going to go down. A 9 year old, a 20 month old, and newborn baby in my mid 30s?! This would’ve probably been easier 10 years ago.
Yes? Well, then we’ve found good company! With every pregnancy the heartburn seems to start sooner. You too, or just me?
I only have 18 or so more weeks of being afraid to vomit if I bend over, lay down, or pick something up without ensuring I’m squatting down to do so.
Pregnancy always seems so long but the weeks go by fast. Sooner than later you realize the heartburn wasn’t so bad compared to the sleep deprivation you may experience.
If you’re pregnant, congrats and I hope you have a safe, healthy pregnancy and delivery. Trying to conceive? God’s plan is there, be patient and trust in Him and His timing. I hope every dream you have comes true!
For now, I’ll go to bed sitting up with about 3 pillows under my head and 1 supporting my belly because if I lay down flat, well you get the idea.
